Building Subcode Official / Building Inspector
The Town of Kearny is seeking a Building Subcode Official / Building Inspector. Under direction of the Construction Official, has the subordinate administrative responsibility for administering the Building Subcode of the NJ State Uniform Construction Code, and inspects all buildings and construction projects to ensure that compliance with plans and specifications is achieved; does other related duties as needed. - Applicants must possess a valid license as an HHS Building Subcode Official issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, as well as a valid NJ driver’s license.
Full-time position, 35 hours per week with full benefits package. Salary: $85,262.00 to $95,600.00.

Part Time Building Inspector -Township of Ocean, Ocean County (Waretown)
Immediate Opening 2-3 days per week. Under direction of the Building Sub-Code Official, performs inspections, as required, to ensure compliance with all applicable codes; does related work as required. Minimum Requirements: HHS License preferred and a valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing; Dual licensure in multiple fields a plus; Knowledge of the Uniform Construction Code; Exceptional customer service communication skills and computer proficiency is required. $45-$50 /Hour upon qualifications and experience. INSPECTORS NEEDED! – FULL TIME and/or PART TIME – Hillsborough Township, Somerset County – The Township of Hillsborough is seeking qualified candidates for immediate full-time and/or part-time openings, for Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector and Fire/Electrical Inspector. They will be responsible for daily field inspections, as assigned by, and under the direct supervision of, the full-time Subcode Officials.
